With renewed focus on its MMS offering, JDA has demonstrated its commitment to the product and has announced the availability of a GUI version of MMS in the near future. This would be welcomed by the MMS customer community that has been looking for continued benefits of using MMS. To cater to new focus areas like multi-channel management, application centralization and demand driven merchandising, retailers should explore the possibilities of using existing functionalities in current applications like MMS. Retailers seeking operational efficiency and a new model of customer centricity can look forward to continuing new initiatives from JDA.
