Sonatrach AVAL decided to install an Electronic Document Management (EDM) solution to enhance productivity and internal communications with the ultimate objective of becoming a paperless company. Sonatrach AVAL launched an international bidding procedure for a complete EDM solution and two months of testing of the new HP A3 scanner in a 'Proof of concept' exercise and finally selected the HP hardware.
