Wireless commercial services present tremendous opportunities for cable operators to increase revenues while building long-term bonds with business customers. Cable operators often face the fundamental challenge of offering broadband services to commercial customers when plant construction costs make the Return-On-Investment (ROI) unattractive. Construction costs to access the potential customer across the street, parking lot - or both - may make the ROI too long to justify the investment necessary to run cable. Canopy Cable allows cable operators to efficiently deliver wireless commercial services. They can address new markets without major plant or infrastructure investments, and can leverage existing HFC plant to provide broadband services to business customers.
