Veritas Storage Foundation Cluster File System is a POSIX-compliant general purpose cluster file system that, with the improvements released in version 5.0, can handle different workloads with optimal performance. NFS is a great example of a workload that has traditionally been very hard to scale without special purpose hardware and software. CFS now enables the same scalability for general purpose servers and storage.
