The Nature Conservancy (TNC), now a million members strong, works around the world to protect and preserve ecologically important lands and waters. TNC manages an extensive intranet to help employees conduct research, consolidate organization-wide communications, and run the organization with utmost efficiency. Visitors to the public website and employees using the intranet couldn't reliably get the results they needed when they used search. TNC deployed Google Search Appliance; units immediately began reliably indexing pages and returning relevant results.
