Isbank, Turkey's first national bank, is a company of truly global proportions, accounting for nearly ten per cent of the market value of the Istanbul Stock Exchange. To support its real-time operations, Isbank needed to deploy leading-edge technology wherever it can. It wanted to enhance the bandwidth, performance and availability of services provided to 2,400 end-users in its headquarters. To achieve this, the bank decided to migrate the headquarters' LAN from ATM to Gigabit Ethernet. Isbank decided to base its new LAN architecture on ProCurve Networking's Adaptive EDGE Architecture.
