Yorkshire's Keighley College caters for 1,000 full time and 7,000 part time students and employs up to 400 staff. Access to computers is vital for both students and staff at Yorkshire's Keighley College. Their work was significantly interrupted when the campus network started to slow down. There were also periods of downtime when the network had to be re-started. Keighley College called in network specialist SICL who installed HP ProCurve 9315 switching. This has allowed the large network to be divided into smaller broadcast domains or VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks).
