Steria is one of Europe's ten largest IT services groups, offering consultancy, systems integration and managed services to customers in its home market in France together with 11 other countries. The company wanted to set up new site at Issy les Moulineaux. They wanted to support heavy network traffic and bandwidth-hungry applications and identify best LAN architecture to meet end-user needs. HP ProCurve switches provided the best fit to these requirements. Steria's choice of HP was made in conjunction with its partner Point Sys, which assumed responsibility for network design, implementation, maintenance and training. The network was built around a single central HP ProCurve Networking Routing Switch 9315 and several HP ProCurve 5300xl switches.
