LEGATO Systems Inc. commissioned VeriTest, a division of Lionbridge Technologies Inc., to compare the performance of their RepliStor data replication application against NSI software's Double-Take. LEGATO Systems Inc. develops, markets and supports network storage management, content, messaging and data availability software. The RepliStor software allows for local and remote data replication and server fail-over providing a data availability solution. NSI Double-Take provides a similar data replication solution. The test consisted of comparing the performance of the two products when conducting manual and real time replication of test data from a source to a target computer system.
