There are many methods for measuring the impact of a training program on bottom-line company performance. Many studies have repeatedly demonstrated the value of training, and there is no doubt that training can have many positive benefits. Because so many factors can affect an organization's business outcomes, one knows that training is only one of many factors that can effect changes in bottom-line results. A program's success and impact will be mitigated by factors such as the work environment, the economy, company culture, one-time events (such as downsizing), and a host of other variables.
