The client required a vendor with the requisite knowledge of the working of the product and its usage in a live environment. The testing cycle timeframes were highly dependent on the product development team. As a result, the client needed access to a flexible test team with the required skills (testing + product knowledge) and with the capability to provide them on demand. Blue Star Infotech (BSI) had both the capabilities and the ability to provide a flexible model whereby the test team could be deployed within a short timeframe. BSI installed 9 Itanium servers in its test labs. The test lab first developed a Strategic Test Plan which was shared with the client.
