Nordson India is a fully-owned subsidiary of Nordson Corporation, USA - one of the world's leading producers of precision dispensing equipment. Nordson India had been using a competitive Accounting Package since 1996, but with the increased range of items and multiple sourcing entities involved, that product was found inadequate for managing the flow of materials and taking care of the procurement process. Nordson India evaluated several options but Blue Star Infotech (BSI) convinced them about the superiority of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly Microsoft Business Solutions - Navision), which included the shorter implementation timeframe, better look and feel, and user-friendliness.
