One of the world's largest 401K plan and employee benefit administrators, the Company provides a diverse, balanced selection of professionally managed investment offerings to companies with large 401K benefits plans. One significant obstacle was the fact that the client company had to bear the cost of installing redundant, dedicated leased lines for securing transactions. Not only did these connections incur high, ongoing monthly charges, they also required additional staff resources and could take several months to order from local service providers. The EBA group decided to deploy the Cisco ACE XML Gateway. The Cisco ACE XML Gateway provided a common Web services architecture, through which all of the clients' and Company's systems could communicate.
