Telematics includes traffic information services, emergency rescue services, mobile communication services, and so on. Since many web contents and services will be provided by the telematics, the technologies related to telematics will be more important in the near future. This paper provides a web service framework for the telematics server. The implementation composed of three parts: a WSDL registry and search tool, a stub generator, and a data cache for the web service. The system has the following good points: it is compliant with the web service standard including WSDL, UDDI, and SOAP, and it has better performance by the data cashing technique.
