Caseworkers at the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, Office of Income Maintenance were running into efficiency and accuracy problems because their primary casework application monopolized screen real estate and was difficult to minimize to access other applications. Constantly paging between windows was impacting productivity and increasing the risk of data entry errors. Dell Global Infrastructure Consulting Services installed two flat-panel LCD monitors for each of 7,182 caseworkers across more than 100 locations - as well as dual-display graphics cards - completing the entire installation in less than four months. The Department's IT employees were given three monitors each.
