Clalit's Enterprise BI Data Warehouse has become so important to healthcare professionals and clinic managers that the company decided on an early upgrade to Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Enterprise to take advantage of new features including data compression; enhanced star join functionality to improve query performance; the Resource Governor, to help protect query performance; and support for spatial data types to help Clalit incorporate geographic and related data in planning service delivery.
