The RCEB is a private, non-profit corporation under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services. As RCEB grew, officials decided to expand to two new sites. Outfitting the new locations for business presented an opportunity to centralize database functionality and improve electronic record-keeping, making it easier for staff to achieve RCEB's mission of coordinating services and supports for people with developmental disabilities. AT&T upgraded RCEB's networking by implementing a reliable, scalable, low-cost Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IP VPN).
