Dutch Land Registry Office needed to tackle silo-centric, departmental technology focus. Kadaster is moving from a mainframe-based registry to a distributed, customer-centric focus. Kadaster was faced with multiple connections between overlapping applications and user interfaces. The existing environment with all these connections was so inflexible and expensive to maintain that it became practically impossible to continue. Dutch Land Registry Office deployed BEA Tuxedo 8.1 to underpin a consolidated, Service-Oriented Architecture aimed at streamlining and enhancing the end-to-end property registration, administration, and information delivery processes.
