Broadlane is the group-procurement services company for healthcare. The company needed an industrial-strength portal infrastructure to support a growing user community, and to accelerate the delivery of new services, content and functionality. Broadlane has deployed three new customer-facing Web applications on BEA WebLogic Portal. The portal infrastructure is based on a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Broadlane is gradually phasing out its legacy Web applications.
