This White Paper is designed to support the Army Small Computer Program's (ASCP), Thin Client Architecture Standardization Program. Contained herein GTSI outline a solution based approach and subsequent methodologies around optimal thin client computing environment deployments to include hardware, software and resource requirements. GTSI is proposing an implementation methodology based on years of experience and adherence to industry proven best practices. Within this draft is outlined the approach, methodologies, materials needed to build a solution, and continued benefits of incorporating such a solution. Through the knowledge and experience this paper allows the Army an ease of use and secure application delivery mechanism while continuing to allow for secure, centralized administration of Army IT assets and tools.
