This paper describes the steps to configure the Juniper Networks Secure Access SSL VPN appliance to support the Avaya IP Softphone application. The Juniper Instant Virtual Extranet (IVE) serves as the underlying operating system for all Juniper SSL VPN appliances. The configuration steps described in this paper utilize a Juniper Secure Access model 4000 (Juniper SA-4000). However, these configuration steps can be applied to other Juniper Secure Access models using the IVE software version specified.
