Sanctioned by the State Council of China, Huaneng Dalian Power Plant is a thermal power plant that was established with foreign investment from Huaneng International Power Development. The company needed a way to upgrade its existing enterprise IT system and expected the new system be easier to use and have the ability to cope with a large number of applications. After evaluating different technology options Huaneng Dalian Power Plant selected BEA Systems, BEA AquaLogic User Interaction (ALUI) solution to implement its new enterprise information portal.
