SCPMCS Reduces Claims Processing Turnaround Times by Nearly 75% and Enjoys a One-Year ROI With EMC Captiva ClaimPack

SCPMCS is a physician-governed management services organization providing fully delegated, managed care administrative and management services to physician group clients. Initially, SCPMCS was processing all claims in-house through a time-consuming manual data entry process, which took between 29 to 40 days to process a claim and enter it into the system. This unsatisfactory turnaround time inspired the organization to begin outsourcing part of the process. SCPMCS was facing high inaccuracy rate - an average of 74% of the claims processed had errors. To address their accuracy concerns and high costs associated with sending work out of house, SCPMCS decided to bring the operation back in-house by implementing Captivas ClaimPack, an automated claims processing solution.
