NetMotion Wireless launched a business re-engineering initiative that called for tighter linkages between customers and partners in order to drive business growth. To increase the company's competitive advantage and fuel the aggressive business growth NetMotion Wireless desired, leadership decided to transform its headquarters-based sales and service groups into mobile teams that would provide both customers and partners with highly personalized support. NetMotion Wireless quickly realized that its current infrastructure was ill-equipped to meet the needs of a mobile business environment. NetMotion Wireless considered three competitive proposals. In the final analysis, the company chose an Avaya IP Telephony Solution with MultiVantage Communications Applications and Avaya Communication Manager.
