The Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals (PGP) discovers, develops, manufactures, and markets healthcare products that improve the quality of life for people around the world by helping them enjoy longer, healthier and more productive lives. Well-choreographed interaction among so many groups within PGP has been an important factor in the clinical and financial success of Pfizer's pharmaceutical business. In an effort to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of this highly successful organization, PGP launched an initiative to streamline the flow of information across the business unit so that executives would have timelier access to relevant data, which would facilitate more informed decision making and greater organizational agility. Pfizer turned to longtime technology partner, BEA Systems, to build the 'PGP Dashboard' application.
