Le Forem a Leading public employment and vocational training services agency in Belgium needed to focus more on delivering joined-up and rewarding citizen service. Faced with an imminent loss of its monopoly position, the agency also needed to increase efficiency. Le Forem deployed BEA WebLogic Server 8.1 and BEA WebLogic Portal 8.1 to create an open, standards-based application architecture framework. BEA WebLogic Server provides an industrial-strength infrastructure for the development, integration, and management of the environment. The enterprise portal infrastructure - based on BEA WebLogic Portal - provides a unified portal framework, which allowed the team to seamlessly share portal resources.
