The client is a multi-billion dollar designer and manufacturer of electronics products including wireless and data capture solutions. The client needed to empower internal sales with a tool to more efficiently manage leads to fulfillment - a fluid solution that would streamline the ordering process and deliver self-serve efficiency through the timely sharing of critical information. To complement the functionality of Comergent, the client chose salesforce.com, an on-demand sales automation platform for easy and intuitive real-time forecasting and territory management. Paired together both systems were functionally compatible, but experienced some critical process overlap. Because of its legacy of success with similar integrations, EDL strongly endorsed the choice of salesforce.com.
