In part five, the presenter returns to the standardized desktop image created in the previous session, and apply it consistently to the internal client computers at Contoso. The presenter examines the resulting benefits of the standardized desktop image, including a reduction in the number of deployed operating systems, simplified support, and access to a wider range of features that take advantage of newer technologies. The presenter shows how to implement an update management solution that ensures all client computers are kept up-to-date and also show how to prepare Contoso's infrastructure for its next operating system upgrade using the XImage disk imaging tool.
