Archiving simplifies and automates the collection of electronically stored information to support E-discovery and internal investigations but what about content that has never been archived? Discovery requests can expand beyond archived content to include active content on the desktop, file systems and other free-range content. As a result, E-discovery strategy must include a plan for the collection and preservation of active content. This webcast will investigate the role of Enterprise Vault archiving and Discovery Accelerator in the context of the E-Discovery Reference Model; strategies for capturing active content using Guidance EnCase; and strategies for integrating archiving and active content collection into the E-Discovery process.
