The Tribunal Supremo Electoral (Supreme Electoral Court) is the highest body that oversees voting in Ecuador. Supreme Electoral Court wanted to implement a reliable high-availability IT infrastructure to guarantee transparency and reliability of information during electoral processes and create a robust voter database for timely updating and use in elections. The challenge was to automate election return collection to accelerate vote total processing and results publication and establish a historical voting record to avoid the loss of critical information. Supreme Electoral Court worked with RedPartner S.A. to implement a high-availability IT infrastructure, assuring speed and reliability in electoral processes and established a robust citizen database with the help of Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, allowing for quick and reliable access to voter information.
