The IBM Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server (TEPS) is a component of both IBM Tivoli Monitoring 6.1 and the OMEGAMON XE/DE products on z/OS. It provides status, availability and performance data from a variety of sources. Either the Tivoli Enterprise Portal client or the Internet Explorer web browser can access the TEPS to display and/or act upon various aspects of the operational environment, with workspaces and views showing information from operating systems, middleware, and applications for both z/OS and distributed environments. Commands, either manual or automated, can be invoked against monitored resources from the TEPS.
