NetView for z/OS has provided industry leading network management capabilities for decades, providing availability monitoring for SNA and TCP/IP network resources. The recent inclusion of availability data from NetView for z/OS in the Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP) allows combining availability and performance data for managed systems, networks and resources into a single integrated management solution. Coupled with products from the OMEGAMON XE suite, one can now monitor availability and performance of the z/OS systems, SNA and IP networks and major applications such as DB2, CICS and IMS from one easy-to-use interface; the Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP).
