Employees at the German Alpine Association found it difficult to manage and consolidate all of the operations effectively. For the staff to operate effectively, some changes needed to be implemented, including the use of a common interface, a collaborative workspace, better recovery and response times from system crashes, decreased expenditures, and more compatible applications. Ultimately, the German Alpine Association required one integrated, standardized system. The association selected Dynamics NAV as the business management solution to integrate and upgrade its IT system with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as the database, along with the following Dynamic NAV modules: Finance Management, Supply Chain Management, Customer Relationship and Management E-Commerce.
