Adhost, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, is one of the Pacific Northwest's leading providers of server colocation and shared server hosting. It manages two high-tech data centers in Seattle, Washington, and serves over 3000 business customers across the region. Adhost built its first three Web farms using Windows Server 2003, but after two years decided that it needed a solution that would substantially reduce server administration time while increasing extensibility and scalability for its customers. Adhost deployed Windows Server 2008 and began using the innovative enhancements of Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 technologies, including the Shared Configuration feature and IIS Manager tool.
