This webcast describes the tasks required for deploying a Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006 solution in a branch office. The presenter explains how to configure both the headquarters and branch office sites, and how to deploy a site-to-site Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection using the Layer two Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) over IP security (IPsec). The presenter also examines some of the new features in ISA Server 2006 that can significantly enhance system performance for branch office users, including HTTP compression, content caching, and traffic prioritization using the Differentiated Services (DiffServ) protocol. Finally, the presenter explains how to use Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 and the ISA Server management pack to monitor systems running ISA Server 2006.
