When the pre-released version of Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 became available, EMC tested and deployed it in its own environment as well as helped customers pilot test it. Based on that testing, EMC found the comprehensive unified communications features in Office Communications Server 2007 to reduce complexity and support more-transparent communications for customers, which offers new business potential for EMC.
