The client is an innovator in the field of IP and Ethernet communication systems. The client wanted to add the wireless capability to their switching/routing protocol stack. There was no standard protocol for communication between the wireless controller and the WLAN access points. MindTree Consulting, a leader in business-enabling solutions & technologies, successfully carried out the design, development and testing of a new WLAN feature for an existing product line of the client. This feature enabled the product to gain a competitive edge in the wireless LAN market and MindTree's engineering team co-invented an algorithm with the client. The success of this project has resulted in continuing relationship between the client and MindTree.
