Trinity Valley School is a K - 12 college preparatory school consisting of 940 students and 140 employees. The faculty, students, and staff needed to access their applications and critical information to effectively work off campus. They were also in search of an easier method of deploying software and re-imaging the workstations, as they planned to do so annually. Trinity Valley School hired Microsoft Certified Partner and Small Business Specialist NetVision Consulting to design and deploy a presentation virtualization solution, and terminal services to access the school's infrastructure. Although the school considered Linux as an option, it lacked adequate staffing and the expertise to deploy and maintain the Linux technology. So Windows Server 2008 looked like the best match.
