As a managed service provider for more than 2,000 small businesses located throughout Europe, Cobweb needed to ensure the security and reliability of its messaging and collaboration solutions based on Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services. To do so, Cobweb wanted to implement a server-level antivirus solution to safeguard its customers' data from viruses, worms, and malicious code. After looking at three security solutions, the company decided to implement Microsoft Antigen for Exchange and Antigen for SharePoint because they provide tight integration with its managed applications, multiple scan engines, and the required flexibility. By deploying Antigen security software, Cobweb is able to increase its customers' peace of mind, tailor its services to meet specific customer needs, and minimize its administration costs.
