Supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne requires professional(s) that have the requisite experience to handle complex technological processes and are abreast of the latest system developments, understand the technology, have prior experience of working with the software, and have a consultative approach to troubleshooting issues. Finding individuals that demonstrate all these skillset traits is difficult as they are relatively scarce in the marketplace. If one is fortunate to find individuals with the requisite skills, typically a high price tag is associated with them. In some cases, after recruitment it may become evident that the individual's knowledge is limited by his prior exposure to a particular configuration, which may not necessarily match yours (i.e. with respect to software versions, modules used, security design, hardware and database platforms).
