The Arrigo Serpieri Institute of Higher Education in Agricultural Technology is located in Bologna, Italy. It has 70 teachers and 450 students, offering specialist graduates to local agribusiness. They needed a more efficient solution that didn't cost too much, but would support AutoCAD 2007 - the industry standard in the agriculture sector for activities such as planning surveys and design projects. They deployed Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Learning Network Manager 2005 across the institute - and develop a solution to breathe life into the old laboratory. Implemented as a layer on top of Windows Server 2003, Learning Network Manager makes it easy to create and manage end users, groups of computers, and Internet access.
