Microsoft Internet Explorer contains a command to send a URL link to an e-mail message recipient. However, Outlook automatically blocks attachments that contain file types that can run programs. These blocked file types include .url file types. One must manually copy and paste the Web page URL from the Web browser into the body of an Outlook e-mail message.
