The analysis of email addresses in a relational network shows that most aliases tend to occur in close proximity of each other. More than half on the email aliases are located with a geodesic distance of two from each other. About 20% of aliases are directly adjacent to each other. This confirms the assumption made earlier and provides a basis for additional analysis. Using only the geodesic distance as an alias predictor is a successful way of locating a good list of alias candidates. In more than 10% of the cases, an email alias can be found in the 10 closest addresses in the relational network.
