OAO Silovye Mashiny, wanted to install a fully featured integration platform that allows the company to add functionality at various stages as needed, beginning with a workplace collaboration portal. As a solution the company deployed SAP NetWeaver platform, which includes the SAP Enterprise Portal component. This implemented an effective portal solution enabling internal and external users to share information and work collaboratively, saved time and money by implementing powerful new same-vendor solutions from SAP and were on track to implement SAP NetWeaver functionality for master data management and application integration in the future.
