This webcast look at the new TCP/IP stack in Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. The new stack includes a new set of performance enhancements to increase throughput in high-bandwidth, high-latency, and high-loss networking environments. It looks at the architecture of the new stack and the new features that are supported. This includes receive windows auto-tuning, advanced detection features, and other improvements, such as the Network and Sharing Center, that provide easy access to many network tasks. This webcast discusses how to manage network connections in Windows Vista, including wireless connections. On a security front, Windows Vista provides extra layers of security for organization. The webcast also covers the integration of the improved Windows Firewall and IP Security (IPSec).
