The company is a New York based company, operating one of the leading platforms for the electronic trading of corporate bonds and certain other types of fixed-income securities. The company needed a partner who could help them design and develop a web-based data product which could provide real-time trading information. A dedicated AppLabs team designed and built the data product with a 3-tier architecture based on the Model-View-Controller (MVC) and Apache Struts framework. A separate testing team was set up to ensure that there was true independence between the development and testing elements of the project. AppLabs also developed a comprehensive suite of in-house and third party test harness tools that it can use within any engagement.
