Provident Financial is a UK FTSE 250 global lending company. Due to its agent workforce and regional branches, Provident Financial's account management systems were heavily reliant on manual processing. Each branch had its own standalone account management system and a team of clerks would update the agents' data on a weekly basis. This meant the company struggled to get a real time organizational view of the account management status and the overall quality of its data needed improvement. AppLabs started off with a small project - helping the financial institution to find the right testing tool, but the remit of the testing consultancy soon grew to ensure that AppLabs had a pivotal role to play.
