Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory wanted to facilitate collaboration among scientists in geographically dispersed locations and simplify participation in rich-media conferences. The challenge was to reduce resources needed to administer collaboration solution. As a solution the company deployed Cisco MeetingPlace, Cisco routers and switches.
