Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Swingvote provides communication technology and services to publicly held companies and their institutional owners. Swingvote wanted to automate the proxy management process, providing an online platform for institutional voters to cast votes and have access to relevant information and reports. Using Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT and Microsoft Message Queuing technology, Swingvote created a Web-based platform for institutional voters that automatically records position data contained in SWIFT transaction files. The scalable solution - one of the first of its kind available online - is making the proxy voting process faster, more effective, and economical for subscribers. And, unlike other service providers, Swingvote offers extensive reporting capabilities and a complete data audit trail, delivering accountability in proxy voting that never existed before.
