An independent dealer of John Deere, Barker Implement, an Iowa farm equipment retailer, was in need of a security solution that would restore interrupted e-mail communication with its customers, a critical method for receiving orders and presenting sales quotes. Additionally, the company required a solution that would allow monitoring of employee Internet usage and provide secure remote access to its more than 80 employees in five locations. Barker Implement chose the Network Engines NS6300 appliance running Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004 for its proven security and ease of use.
